APPLY PASSPORT ONLINE through the SBI service

APPLY PASSPORT ONLINE FORM

Applicants needs to the following instruction for payment through the Internet banking payment method,

step 1 : Register through the Passport Seva online Portal and create User Id ( username and password)

step 2: Login through Passport seva online portal with the registered username and password.

step 3: Generate an ARN for Fresh passport or Reissue of passport link under the particular service section.

step 4: After that do the schedule an appointment by clicking the Schedule appointment link on the saved / submitted applications screen.

step 5:  Select the Normal / Tatkaal appointment quota , this aption will show only who have the tatkaal ARNs.

step 6: when you select the preferred PSK the system will display the next available date for the selected PSK after verify the details click Pay and book appointment button to redirect the SBI Multi option payment system website page.

step 7 : Select the net banking as preferred mode of payment and login using your internet banking User name and password to make online payment of indicated passport service fee.

step 8:  After finish your successful payment applicant is redirected to the online portal of passport seva and also the confirmation of your appointment details will display in the screen you should take the print out of this page for proof of payment. it contains details of the payment mode along with the payment reference number and appointment details.

Step 9 & 10 To submit an application at PSK for Passport

After finish the steps 7 and 8 we go to Step:9 and 10 in step 9 Granting Officer Zone in this counter the granting Officer takes a decision on granting of the passport in PSK Counter C. Granting Officers may be ask some questions about yourself so you should answer properly, they can justify to granting your passport.

Step 10: This is final stage of your passport application process in this step is Exit Gate here you can collect the printout of the final status of acknowledgement letter of your application from this counter. You should keep this letter for further process of track your status of your application

you can check your status of application through Passport seva portal http://www.passportindia.gov.in and toll free  number  of call center 1800-258- 1800Passport Fees Payable in respect of  ( SVP) Short Validity PAssports:The procedure of fees payable in respect of Passport applications or travel documents were notified vide Notification No. VI/401/1/2011 dated 28/09/2012 All PIA,s in India as well as in the Missions/ Posts abroad are requested to follow the below instructions ;

The matter has been considered in the Ministry. All PlAs in India and abroad are hereby advised to immediately stop the practice of extending the validity of SVP by making manual endorsements and that fresh booklet is required to be issued in case of expiry of the validity of old passport/SvP. After considering all aspects, a separate fee structure for SVP has been approved as under:-

a. For passports having the validity more than 5 years but less than 10 ' ' year" (validity of normal passport], the fees prescribed for a nomal

b. In case of issuance of a SVP having the validity from O-5 years, a fee which would be equivalent to the fee prescribed for the fresh passport or re-issue of passport of 36 pages for minors below eighteen years of age with validity of live yea:rs or till the minor attains the age of eighteen years, which ever is easier i.e. Rs. looo/- Normal category) or Rs' 3OOO/- Tatkal categoryl [Or US $ 50 ot € 40 as the case may bel as provided at Sr. No. 3 of the fee list of Schedule IV of Ministry's Notification No. VI/4Ol/ I2011, dated 28/10/12

The Ministry has been receiving references from Passport issuing Authorities  (PIAS) to evolve a specific fee structure for the Short Validity Passports (SVP) since in terms of iCAO guidelines now only machine readable printed passports are being issued and the issue for handwritten passports, except in emergency cases, have been discontinued w.e.l. 01l04l2O1O It has also been noticed that some Missions instead of issuing a fresh booklet for SVP are extending the validity of SVP by making endorsement on it without levying any fee and, thereby, inviting audit objections.

Step 7 & 8 To Submit Passport Application at PSK

After Finish step 5 and 6 we can go the Step7: After completing the process on Counter A you should wait in the waiting hall for the next process in counter B. when your token number diplaye in lcd screen you go to the counter B.



Step 8 :  After complete the process at PSK counter B you should wait in the waiting hall, when your token number displayed in LCD screen for further process at PSK counter C.

Details of reasons for Annexure F
1.
Anyone who issues incorrect verification certificate may be prosecuted under section 12(2) of the Passports Act, 1967.
2.
If the applicant has resided at more than one place during the last one year, then all previous addresses with the relevant dates should
be mentioned.
3.
The applicant’s passport size photograph is also required to be affixed on the Verification Certificate and attested by the officer issuing the Verification Certificate with his/her signature and rubber stamp put in such a way that half the signature and stamp appear on the photograph and half on the certificate.
4.
This Verification Certificate may be got signed by any of the following:

1. A Sub-Divisional Magistrate/First class Judicial Magistrate/Additional DM/District Magistrate of the district of residence of applicant.

2. The Chairmen of the Apex Business Organizations, i.e. FICCI, CII and ASSOCHAM in respect of owners, partners or directors of the companies that are members of the concerned Chamber in prescribed performa as at Annexure “J”. (The certificate should
specify applicant is a owner/ partner/ director of the company)

3. Concerned Tehsildars or concerned SHOs for an applicant staying in the area under his/her jurisdiction.

4. Resident Commissioners/Additional Resident Commissioners of all State Governments based in Delhi.

5. All members of any All India Service or Central Service who are equivalent to or above the rank of an Under Secretary to the Government, i.e. with Grade pay of Rs.6,600/- and above.


6. An Under Secretary/Deputy Secretary/Director/Joint Secretary/Add. Secretary/Special Secretary/Secretary/Cabinet Secretary to Government of India

7. A District Superintendent of Police, DIG/IG/DGP of the district of residence of applicant.

8. A Major and above in the army, Lt. Commander and above in the Navy and Sq. Leader and above in the Air Force

9. The General Manager and above of a Public Sector Undertaking

10. A Director/Joint Secretary/Additional Secretary/Special Secretary/Chief Secretary to a State Govt.

SECTION 6(2) (C) OF THE PASSPORTS ACT, 1967 -

Subject to the other provisions of this Act, the passport authority shall refuse to issue a passport or travel document for visiting any foreign country under clause ( C ) sub-section 5 of any one or more of the following grounds, and on no other ground, namely:

a. that the applicant has been repatriated and has not reimbursed the expenditure incurred in connection with such repatriation.

b. that a warrant or summons for the appearance, or a warrant for the arrest of the applicant has been issued by a court under any law for the time being in force or that an order prohibiting the departure from India of the applicant has been made by any such court.

c. that criminal proceedings in respect of an offence alleged to have been committed by the applicant are pending before a court in India.

d. that the applicant has, at any time during the period of five years immediately preceding the date of his application, been convicted by a court of India for any offence involving moral turpitude and sentenced in respect thereof imprisonment for not less than two years.

e. that the presence of the applicant outside India may, or is likely to, prejudice the friendly relations of India with any foreign country.

f. that the departure of the applicant from India may, or is likely to, be detrimental to the security of India.

g. that the applicant may, or is likely to, engage outside India in activities prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India.

h. that the applicant is not a citizen of India.


Step 5 & 6 To Submit an application to Passport Seva kendra

Step 5 : The token contains a token number it is used for further process of your application. you should wait at the waiting hall till your token number displayed on LCD display screen. It shows token number and PSK Counter for next process.


Step 6  Processing Zone the CSE-( citizen service executive) scan and uploding your documents into the PSK system after that CSE take photograph and finger prints and verify your signature this willbe scanned and uploaded in PSK system. Personal particulars as in the system will be printed and given to you for verification and signature, this would be scanned and uploaded in the system.

Step : 3 -- In Security check you must show your appointment letter in person.

Put a cross against Fresh Passport if you have never held a passport.  while applying for fresh passport for the particular category you belong to and attach the self attested photocopies of documents, as given in Attach appropriate documents for Normal and Tatkaal Application for which you are applying.
Reissue of Passport
Your passport has either expired or is about to expire. You can apply for a re-issue of passport up to 1 year before the expiry or within 3 years after the expiry of the existing passport without fresh police verification, provided there is clear police report with respect to your previous passport and there is no adverse entry in the system.

You want to change the personal particulars or other details specified in your current passport and get a booklet with changed details. Pages in the existing passport booklet are exhausted.

Fresh Passport
For fresh passport, normally an applicant is required to submit proof of address, proof of date of birth and documentary proof that the applicant is eligible for Non-ECR category (previously ECNR). Refer Table 3, Document No. 1 and 2 for documents which have to be submitted as proof of address and proof of date of birth. Refer Column 2.15 in Section B for applicants who are eligible for Non-ECR category. Additional documentation is required for specific cases such as adoption, name change, any particular difference in documents,tatkaal cases etc.
Reissue of Passport
For re-issue of passport, an applicant is required to submit old Passport in original with self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages, including ECR/Non-ECR page (previously ECNR) and the page of observation (if any), made by Passport Issuing Authority and validityextension page, if any, in respect of short validity passport. Proof of address has to be submitted only if it is different from the old passport.

Applicants are required to attach self attested photocopies of all documents with the application form. In case of submission at Citizen Service Centre (CSC) particularly at Bangalore-1, applicants are requested to attach attested photocopies (either gazetted official or notary) of all documents with the application form. Original documents must also be produced at the counter, which will be returned after verification.

Before go to step 2 we should finish the step 1
Step : 2 : Visit Your designated PSK with appointment letter along with the required original documents and xerox copies in person. you should be reach your designated PSK half an hour before on your appointment time provided by PSK.

when you are in Final year college studies u should have passport for plans of studying in abroad (U.S , Canada , UK and more countries )and also appearing for GRE Exams you must have the valid passport in your hand. Passport is not bunch of details about you its a valid national Id Proof. If you want to apply passport first download the form from online and do the steps as fallows.....

In this procedure Passport form filling and submitting that through online for that we should register user on the passport seva website so first create the new account using your email id for online passport form submission.

After that log on to PSK account and select in the left navigation bar Apply passport online and fill up the required field and upload the required documents before that the documents should be self attested and it must be in the form of PDF format and upload through the uplod document link in the applicant home page itself. Online appointment is must to walk in to Passport seva kendra for further actions. And also we should carry the original documents for completion of the application submission process.
