Two types methods to follow apply for new passports:

1. Online Form submission

2. Passport form submission at passport seva kendras.

First Online Form submission:

In this procedure Passport form filling and submitting that through online for that we should register user on the passport seva website so first create the new account using your email id for online passport form submission.

After that log on to PSK account and select in the left navigation bar Apply passport online and fill up the required field and upload the required documents before that the documents should be self attested and it must be in the form of PDF format and upload through the uplod document link in the applicant home page itself. Online appointment is must to walk in to Passport seva kendra for further actions. And also we should carry the original documents for completion of the application submission process.

Procedures to follow for form completion at Passport seva kendra:

Procedure 1: When you reach the respective PSK you should show the original appointment letter at the time of appointment and showing your filled passport application form and copy supporting documents with original. The officers check with original docs and give ti back to you. and you will get the token from the token issuance officer and also the token number will display on the LCD screen at the waiting lounge. 

Next you move to the citizen service executive counter with the token here only done the complete formalities like thumb impression and signing and print our of the application and getting photograph and finger prints captured. 

Next you move to the verification counter with the same token number the number will be displayed in the monitor on top of the verification officers desk. when finished in this desk you move to the Granting officer counter with the same token number and collect the printout of your final status of your passport application at the exit gate.
